Current TV Austin Street Style
I produced three videos commissioned by Current
television through my street fashion site Austin
Style Watch. My production duties included finding interview subjects, handling appearance and location release forms, interviewing fashionable people and helping Current in the editing. I have since produced two more pieces on Austin's
Stitch fashion show and another on summer street fashion. All of these videos are featured on the Current website and two appeared on national television.

Expert Village Women's Fashion
Using the tips and tricks I've learned from fashion journalism, I worked with instructional site Expert Village to produce more than 50 videos on women's style. I wrote scripts for lessons ranging from removing wine stains to dressing for a job interview. The videos challenged me to condense complicated lessons into short scripts that were useful and visual.

As a web producer, my duties at FOX are diverse and range from designing web pages to getting extra coverage of events through photos and videos. Pros Who Know is one example of how I partnered with the advertising department to create a special advertising section on the site. The photos of the circus animals walking through the city and video of singer Jason Mraz were opportunities I have had to create coverage that supplements our news stories. In order to reach out to viewers, I worked with the graphics department to create backgrounds and icons specially for the KTBC Myspace and Youtube page so that they had an identity that reflected out station's style.

Video companion pieces for news stories
When the Community Impact Newspaper relaunched its site, reporters began making special multimedia pieces to accompany some stories. These are three of my pieces featuring the arrival of the MetroRail, a speech by Sen. Kirk Watson and a photo tour of Austin's Chinatown Center. All photos, video and editing were done by myself.

I designed and coded this site entirely in flash to serve as my portfolio for modeling. It uses multiple pages, links, photo galleries and some movement. I've since given up modeling but the flash skills have stuck.
Austin Style Watch
Citywide fashion blog
This blog, designed and run by me, tracks Austin's most inspired and eccentric fashion. While it started out as a small project on blogspot, it has now expanded into its own domain name and to a photo site with a companion written blog site. The website has been featured in Nylon magazine, Tribeza and Austin Monthly and has spun off to projects involving Current television and blogging for Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Austin Style Watch video
I've begun producing original video of Austin events for the Austin Style Watch blog and hosting them on Youtube. I'll be updating these here as I post them on the Austin Style Watch blog.

Is This Really Journalism
Personal blog on the web and pop culture
This blog, originally started as part of a multimedia course, follows my personal observations on how pop culture and information technology affect one another. I put special focus on women, children and the city of Austin. On this blog I've broken stories such as the case of fired Austin art teacher Tamara Hoover and have been recognized by groups like The Austinist and the Austin Outsider.
